Relats is a medium size family company founded in 1957.

We used to produce fabric for several industrial applications for more than 20 years. As a result of the relationship with manufacturers of electrical insulation and polished copper thread, a necessity to produce fiber glass braid arose in the early 70’s.

This was the start of our main activity and speciality nowadays.

Relats designs and manufactures electrical and thermal insulating flexible sleeves, as well as different types of sleeves for mechanical protection and noise reduction, always based on a textile substrate.

Currently Relats works for the main car manufacturers, through wire harness companies, brake systems producers, push pull wire, and rubber and metallic sleeves.

We work in the electrical sector on high responsibility applications via worldwide homologations from all our suppliers, such as ABB, Siemens, or Schneider.

We are also present in other industrial areas: electrical appliances, lighting, iron and steel industry, etc.

We continue developing new markets and applications in the mass transport, trains and aeronautics, as well as new energies.
